Hey Pals!! Today, we have Srishti @ SRISHTI’S Travel Diary here with me to do a Harry Potter related collab! She is gonna be sharing some of her favorite quotes from the books and I’ll be reacting to them! 😃

S- Hey Nehal!! Thanks for having me over!

N- Heya! I hope this is fun 😁. Without much ado, let’s get started!!

S- “It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” ― Albus Dumbledore

N- Wow, we started this on a rather serious note, didn’t we 🙂? I am just kidding, as usual. Anyways, I like this one! But it kind of also depends upon the situation, you know? If you’re dwelling on the right dreams, you might work hard to accomplish your goals. But sometimes, it is indeed better if we let some stuff go, so…

S- Hmm, true. Here is next- ‘There are all kinds of courage,’ said Dumbledore, smiling. ‘It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.’

N- Indeed, this is true, I mean, I just…who am I kidding? I’m sure it’s easier the other way round for me 🤣.

S- Haha. Okay next- “Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself.” — Hermione Granger

N- I couldn’t agree more.

Quote of the day– Overcoming the fear of the name of something is the first step towards getting over the fear itself.

N- The same way I was born a crying baby and grew up to become…well, a crying baby 🙂.

N- This is true…for women too though 👀. We have equal right!!

S- 🤦🏻 Anyways, next- “Curiosity is not a sin…. But we should exercise caution with our curiosity… yes, indeed.” — Albus Dumbledore

N- I agree 😭. Being too curious only ends up leading to me making bad decisions and trying weird things and regretting later. Uff.

S- I see 😂. And for the last one, I have a really cool one:

But Ron was staring at Hermione as though suddenly seeing her in a whole new light.

“Oh well spotted,” she said acidly.’

N- Amazing 🤣. I loved this scene, made me crack up so hard.

  6. Ahhhhhh!!! 😍😍😍 Harry Potter quotes!! 🥰🥰🥰 Honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite for the life of me, I just love every single word in that story so much! But pretty much everything that ever came out of Dumbledore’s mouth is inspiring 😊

    1. Me neither!! There are so many amazing lines in the series! I shared some really weird ones on Srishti’s blog.
      And yeah, Dumbledore is like this walking quote speaker, whatever he says is a quote, it’s kind of overwhelming, lol.

  8. There is one: Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one remembers to turn on the light…applies perfectly to reading at night and hearing your parents switch off the bedroom light with a ”stop reading go to bed”
    But when ron noticed that granger was a girl…no…i can’t-🤣🤣
    The next time i’m reading harry potter, I am going to bookmark all of my favourite lines….

      2. Thankfully, I was never hit with the love of mah life…books…snape scenes in the movies are always just epic 😃 and snape hitting them from behind!! that’s just one other level of snape being just iconic😂
        Okay I will…next year….I have a habit of reading all of my favourite books once a year😅

      4. That’s a nice habit! I’ve been reading goblet of fire for the third time, and I haven’t been able to finish it for monnnnths, I just don’t feel the same way about it anymore 😞😂.

      5. Well that’s totally fine. Some people sometimes grow out of some books…idk but you can try to pick it up in ten years??? Maybe then you’ll be able to read it?? Or maybe just watch the movies if you like😊 like i remember when I had a total obssession over dork diaries and now I’m just like meh but they were really fun to read…(still not over wimpy kid though)

    Those two are two of my favorite quotes found in Harry Potter- currently I am rereading the series, and at the moment, reading Chamber of Secrets (which almost am finished with)
