3 Weird Habits of Mine ๐Ÿ‘€

Hey Pals!! Today, I’m going to be sharing 5 Weird/Quirky Habits of Mine. I hope you’ll enjoy the post ๐Ÿ˜.

This post was inspired by Mokshba Didi’s post @ Happy Panda. Thank you so much for the inspection. Go check out her post guys, she has such amazing content. Literally every post of hers is just so unique, you can come back and change my name if you don’t feel that way after reading them.

Note: This is a discussion post so feel free to share your views in the comments.

1: When I’m alone, I like to talk myself…in a foreign accent.

This has been happening with me for quite some years, but I just can’t help it. There are so many movies, TV shows and Booktube videos I have watched at this point, that if I love somebody’s accent, be it British or American, I will start talking to myself in that accent. Not just the accent, I will adopt their way of speaking words and speak in that way. For example, when I’m alone and scared or something, I start having a conversation with myself Over time, I realized that it’s such a bad habit, but I just can’t help it. It is so much fun for some reason ๐Ÿ˜‚.

2: I use “๐Ÿ™‚” this emoji a little too much, and never in a genuine way.

So now that you know this fact, beware of every time I use this emoji. It’s never in a genuine slightly smiling way. I don’t know why I started using this particular emoji for sarcasm but it just somehow fits it, and every single friend of mine at this point uses it to show sarcasm and anger. Some times, on my class group, when I’m angry at the teacher for giving us extra work, I respond with an “Okay ma’am ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป”. It makes me happy and the teacher suspects nothing.

I know I rock ๐Ÿ™‚

But that’s not the only weird thing about it. The weirder thing about it is that sometimes, I use this even when I’m saying normal things and not being sarcastic. For instance, I am in the habit of saying bye like: “K then…bye ๐Ÿ™‚”. And I have no freaking idea why I do that!

3: Sometimes Most of the times, I chew on the back of my pen so much that it renders the pen useless.

So, if you ever need an expert on which kind of pens taste best, I’m gonna be your guide…and I’m not speaking metaphorically ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ณ.

No but seriously, it’s a bad habit of mine. I chew on the back of my pen so much (mild gross alert) that the saliva enters the riffle (I hope that’s how you spell it) and makes the pen useless. At times, the back of the pen cracks, and I have to remove the riffle and then I just start chewing on the riffle and um….yeah so, don’t judge me ๐Ÿ˜ณ. I don’t know why I do it, but it’s just so….tasty *gulps* ๐Ÿ˜ณ.

So, that was all for me. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and it brought a smile to your face. Let me know a weid habit of yours down in the comments ๐Ÿ˜€.

  3. OMG! I over use that emoji tooooooo. I can’t explain it but I feel like it fills a gap in the message. Like I’m not smiling or being mean but I feel like my message won’t be complete without an emoji and so I use it.. I think.. IDK! But every single time I use it, I find the emoji so so creepy. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคฃ

I definitely talk to myself a lot but foreign accent – that’s new! Haha! Have you seen Money Heist? Would be fun to do a Spanish accent or Emily in Paris and do a French accent? ๐Ÿคฃ

Thanks for the shout out!!!! Really really sweet of you. ๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ

    1. Lol same, kinda. Like if I don’t use enough emojis, the conversation somehow gets very formal ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜
Aah no I haven’t seen that, but my sister says it’s great! I did start Emily in Paris tho, was kinda boring so I left it ๐Ÿ˜ด.
      Ah, Mon plaisir ๐Ÿ˜

  5. Haha! That accent one got me laughing! I mean, maybe that habit will come in handy one day. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haha! What is funny is that my friend uses that emoji to show a small, casual smile…while you use it completely different! Haha! Just how opposite y’all use the emoji is funny.

  7. This was so much fun to read, Nehal – and I totally do the accent thing, too! I just think different ways of speaking are fascinating, so I can’t help but imitate them ๐Ÿ˜ Or I just go ahead and speak in completely foreign languages – I do that all the time when I’m walking in the woods by myself, just to practice ๐Ÿ˜Š

    1. I know right, it is so much fun ๐Ÿ˜‚.
Though I am not that fluent in any language but for Hindi and English ๐Ÿ˜›. I tried learning French on Duolingo but got bored pretty soon ๐Ÿ˜ช
