My Life In Books Tag

Hey Pals!! Today I’m doing the My Life In Books Tag. I was tagged by wonderful Mayuri Didi @ Bookshelf Life. I really suggest checking out her posts because they are so interesting. She was one of the first people who supported me when I joined WordPress. I have high respect for her, plus she has great blogs. So now, let’s do the tag.

1: Find a book for each of your initials.

My initials are the letters N and J. So for N I have Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman (I know I talk about it a lot) and for J I choose The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. I know it starts with The but 90% of the books start with The so let’s just exclude that, okay?

2: Count your age along your bookshelf: what book is it?

I am 14 and the book I land on izz… The Hobbitttttt by J.R.R. Tolkien.

I don’t know why my cover doesn’t have the other five Ts in it 🤔

3: Pick a book set in your city/country

The Children’s Companion by Ruskin Bond. My sister bought me this book and it’s a collection of some popular short stories written by this author. It was a fine read, didn’t enjoy it much though.

4: Pick a book that represents a destination you want to travel

The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan takes places mostly in Manhattan and I would seriously love to visit New York.

5: Pick a book that’s your favorite color

Kane and Abel by Jeff Kinney. My sister has read tons of books by this author but I haven’t even read a single one yet which I feel really awful about now that I come to think of it. Blue is my favorite color which is also kinda like the dominant color in this book cover.

6: Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

I actually have fond memories of practically every book I can think of. Funnily enough, when I just think of the books that I have read I can easily imagine what I was doing while reading them, where I was and the struggles I had to go through reading them, so I must say a majority of all the books that I have read.

7: Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. This book was super boring, super slow and it took me really long to finish it.

8: Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?

Except of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, I guess it would be…well, none 😐. Only, I have already finished reading it so I have already experienced this accomplishment.
